Birch Filet of Salmon

4-6 salmon filets
1/2 cup soft butter or margarine
1c. birch syrup
black pepper, freshly crushed)

Cover bottom of lightly greased 13" x 9" baking dish with salmon filets. Spread butter over salmon and pour syrup over all. Top with lots of pepper. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve immediately.
