We started the season off right here in Kodiak out of Old Harbor. We were trolling kings with whole herring rigged on Gamakatsu hooks on a Seeker Hercules rod with 30-pound Fluorocarbon line.

Kodiak Combos
July 23, 2017
Jack and his son Will, returned to Kodiak Combos with friend Cal from California. Fat kings were landed on spoons, halibut and ling cod took lead head jigs, weather was rainy sunny calm and windy. Cal celebrated his 84th birthday with a 42 pound king! Returning customers are always welcome and you can count on them jumping into “fishing” which isn’t just about catching, its about working together and having a great time making memories.
