Valdez – The silver salmon run was strong from the Valdez Women’s Silver Salmon Derby through the end of the regular silver derby in Valdez. Anglers couldn’t seem to miss with silvers distributed throughout the Sound in large numbers. Fishing from shore at Allison Point was especially good the last weeks of the derby.
