Homer Chamber of Commerce
The Homer Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer partnership of the local business community to ensure a healthy economic base while improving quality of life in the community. The Homer Chamber enables members to accomplish as a group what no one could do individually and represents and promotes the area’s economy and encourages business investments and development. To business prospects and visitors, the Chamber is the community’s front door, welcoming visitors from around the world and promoting Homer as the wonderful tourist destination we all know it is. Homer Marine Trades Association
Homer is a popular destination for resident anglers too and the Homer Marine Trades Association (HMTA) consists of 70-plus marine trade businesses that can help you buy, build new, maintain, outfit, moor your boat in the harbor, or dry store your boat for the winter. HMTA began as a way to provide cooperative marketing for Homer’s growing pool of quality marine-service providers. Homer, with its mild climate, awesome vistas and location on Kachemak Bay is a wonderful place to live and visit, and HMTA is getting the word out: Bring your boat work to Homer; they are in the Business of Boats!
