Build or Repair your Boat at Greatland Welding and Machine, Inc.

Through the month of June, if you get a complete drive-shaft rebuild and mention that you saw Greatland Welding at FishAlaskaMagazine.com and you’ll get one of Shirley’s WORLD FAMOUS CINNAMON ROLLS free!

Born and raised in the Mat-Su Valley, Gary Feaster, owner of Greatland Welding, shares a wealth of knowledge, with over twenty years of experience.

Greatland Welding boasts a complete, industrial machine shop, including lathes, mill, and drill presses. The welding shop is a full service facility with the capability to work on steel, aluminum, cast iron, and stainless steel available on special order.

Greatland’s well-trained staff are diversified in their special fields of welding and machine work. Their many projects are customized to the client’s special needs. Gary and his staff can do anything from creating a special cookie cutter to repairing a trailer, to building a custom boat.

Greatland Welding and Machine has built several custom boats for commercial fishing guides and private, recreational users. Nothing is too great or too small. Visit their Project Gallery or check out the pictures below to enlarge and see some of their handiwork!

Their work can be seen locally and statewide. With their portable capabilities, they can bring their talents directly to your Alaska home or work-site. Click for more information on their new mobile welding unit.
