Our favorite tip-up of the season, the Polar Therm Extreme proved particularly handy for Alaska conditions, as the tip-ups are stackable in a 5-gallon bucket, making it easy to transport five at a time to your favorite lake. As with the standard Polar Therm tip-up, with the Extreme the hole remains completely covered as you fish, so there is no freezing over issues. A built-in tackle storage box is a nice touch, keeping weights, hooks and tip-up lights at hand.
