Grundéns Deck-Boss Boot
The Deck-Boss Boot is engineered to be durable, tough and comfortable. The 15-inch boot, which is made in the Pacific Northwest, utilizes a rigid toe cap, and the exterior is made in one-piece through injection molding. The outsole combined with Herkules Grip synthetic rubber provides superior traction in wet conditions. The flexible upper folds down when desired and a one-inch groove holds a durable silicone band that can be used to keep pants out of the muck. The Deck-Boss Boot insole is engineered to mimic the bilge space in a boat; it is comprised of two separate decks. The lower deck sits on pilings that create bilge space for liquid to accumulate. There are scuppers around the perimeter of the lower deck to allow liquid to drain into the bilge. In the heel area, liquid accumulation cavities connected by channels allow liquid to evacuate the bilge space by inverting the boot and letting the water drain out through a notch. The outsole is non-marking; each pair weighs 2 pounds, 3½ ounces, and they are available in men’s whole sizes from 3 to 14.

The original XTRATUF Legacy boot is the quintessential saltwater boot for Alaska. It is a flexible, neoprene boot that provides all-day comfort and protection. We have worn this boot for more than a decade and endorse it 100%. XTRATUF boots provide a shield of seamless, watertight protection for the most severe fishing conditions. Considered a staple in Alaska for generations, the Legacy boot comes in 6-, 12- or 15-inch heights and is 100% waterproof, featuring a slip-resistant Chevron outsole and heel for grip traction on slick footings. Built-in cushion insoles with arch support help fight fatigue during a long day. The boot is triple-dipped to protect against organic and inorganic acids, chemicals and contaminants. The neoprene rubber is softer and lighter than ordinary rubber, keeping feet comfortable all day long.
