How to cook salmon perfectly is a bit of an art form. You toured Alaska this summer and caught yourself a couple dozen pounds of succulent salmon fillets, but now what?
We got together with one of our favorite food artists, Chef Al Levinsohn, owner of the Kincaid Grill, a phenomenal restaurant right near the airport in Anchorage. Chef Al helped us produce this how to make salmon video using tips and tricks he’s picked up over his many years as a well-known chef in Alaska.

How to Cook Salmon Perfectly
• 10- to 12 minutes per inch of thickness of the fillet.
• Start flesh side down for pan fried salmon making that nice crust and holding in moisture.
• Finish off the salmon in a pre heated oven to achieve the desired doneness just before serving the whole meal.
